(Oxford, United Kingdom) Looking for a gem of a Ruby on Rails (ROR) Developer (MVC Framework experience will be considered) to join established, small & passionate Open Source software house. Working in team of Open Source followers you will be given direct responsibility developing new web features & functionality, including improvements, maintenance & updates.
Must have real-world (commercial) & demonstrable experience developing/deploying Ruby on websites. Ideally with a background in web development. Must have an Open Source passion & drive to problem solve/look outside the box when troubleshooting. Must be flexible to take on additional tasks when required.
Experience of following is useful – but Ruby is the Gem : Javascript, AJAX, Javascript frameworks (MooTools, jQuery, Prototype), HAML, SASS.
£28-35k + share options + pension + free tea and coffee + fun/social events
